• Orange Background - Represents SAR in general
• Triangle - represents the triangle shown at the start of class of investigation, statistics, profile and then the inside triangle of reflex tasking, clues, and search theory.  The triangle also represents mountains and the old civil defense icon which then became emergency management.
• Light Blue - Sky (aviation profiles)
• Dark Blue - Water (water profiles)
• Dark Green - Land
• Black circle with X - ASTM symbol for IPP
• Red circle - 25% zone with highest pDEN
• Orange circle - 50% zone with less pDEN
• Yellow circle - 75% zone with less pDEN
• Green circle - 95% zone with least pDEN
• Notice circles are offset, this represents the blending of the distance from the IPP model with the direction of travel model.
