"This week we responded to a 5-day-old search for a despondent. Opened the book, read the information, looked at our topographical map...started a bloodhound at the PLS, had ground teams situated based on what we read. Well the bloodhound and one ground searcher arrived at the same location - within 15 minutes we had the person. It was right at the transition between urban and rural and just out of sight - just as the book said. We just want to say that your book helped us TREMENDOUSLY and the police department was so impressed, they will be ordering soon!" Lynn Gardiner - People and Paws

Available Now! - Land SAR Addendum
The Land SAR Addendum was created by the National Search and Rescue Committee (NSARC) to provide definitive standardized direction and information on search and rescue (SAR) in the land environment. This includes lost persons, missing vehicles, and missing aircraft. Federal SAR agencies must follow the addendum, all others need to know what it says.
